The archery training program organized by Dagadiya Jan Kalyan Samiti was inaugurated today on 17 May 2025, at Government Inter College Devikhet in Dabralsuan Patti of Dabarikhal block. The Chief guest of the program was District Sports Officer Mr. Sandeep Duklan Dronacharya award winner National Coach. Other special invitees were Block Education Officer Dr. Surender Singh Negi, Principal of Devikhet Inter College Mr. Rajiv Rawat and social worker Shri Jayakrit Bisht. In this program, all teachers, students of Devikhet School, local dignitaries including gram Pradhan, parents of the area were present.
First of all, all the guests were greeted by the secretary of Dagadia Jan Kalyan Samiti. Guests were presented with natural turmeric, produced by regional farmers in collaboration with the Dagadia Samiti , souvenirs and shawl.
Taking forward the program, the students of the school performed Saraswati Vandana, welcome anthem, yoga on Shiva Tandav Strotra, beautiful collective dance by students on Garhwali songs.
The committee’s guardian Smt. Neerja Sharma welcomed all the guests and addressed the attendees. Madhu Sudan Dabral in his presidential speech expressed gratitude to all the guests for attending the program. He explained that, skill development for the students of the area is being conducted time to time by the organization. The committee resolved to develop the area in the field of Archery, envisioning participation of children in different national and international events and winning medals for the country. To realize this dream, Dagdiya hired national silver medalist coach Pawan Bhandari to train 60 volunteer students, and finally 20 students were shortlisted for further training . The committee specially thanked him for his efforts and support.
Block Education Officer Shri Surender Singh Negi appreciated the efforts of samiti on this occasion and assured his cooperation in every way.
Honorable Chief guest Sandeep Duklan, addressed the gathering and made the students aware of the importance of discipline and concentration in archery and sports. He also explained advantage of choosing Archery as a career.
Since last 12 years Dabral Bandhu Jan Vikas smiti is awarding meritorious students of class 5th , 10th and 12th classes of Devikhet and Kuntani Inter college and 5 primary schools.In the program, the 12 meritorious students coming first of 5th, 10th, and 12th were awarded with a prize money and certificate in association with Dagdiya Jan Kalyan Samiti. Mr. Umakant Dabral, president of DBJVS was part of the prize distribution ceremony .
Gauraksha Shri Ram Vilas Dabral was also honored for doing excellent work in the field of cow protection.
Finally, Mr. Madhu Sudan Dabral, President of Dagadia Jan Kalyan, in his closing speech, expressed his gratitude to all Guest, dignitaries, invitees, members of his committee for their hard work including Pankaj Dabral, Jagmohan Dabral, Manish Dabral, Suresh Mamgai, Dipanshu Dabral, Rajkumar Dabral. Heartfelt greetings and thanks was expressed by the committee for the financial support by Kailash Chandra Garola and Shri Ratan Dabral, Ramakrishna, Ganesh Dabral, Chander Mohan Dabral. He also express his special thanks to Principal of Inter College, Mr. Rajiv Rawat and all the teachers for their cooperation program so well . He also commended all teaches for achieving excellent board result in this year.
